Canterbury in 1987

Photographed on Ektachrome in 1987. It was amusing to find that the nothing was visible of the famous medieval city except the top of the cathedral. The view is quite different now. The buildings in the foreground, built in a style we might call “Provincial Modern,” have given way to other buildings in a more modern modern style.
